An Amazing Milestone on our Way to BA Ride

Of course I'm talking about Ali's first century with two teammates and a few others. They rode along the beautiful countryside to the West Hamptons and even managed a brewery stop on the way back.

As to me I am now back in Wisconsin after a few days in Indiana (where I did two short trail rides with Sandi who is starting back on the bike after giving birth) and have no travel planned until I head to New York in two weeks for which I am so excited. I'm using my two weeks here to get in a lot of miles beginning with three rides over the holiday weekend. Saturday was short and fast and Sunday was a 50 miler and both were with Joan.
On Monday a relaxing solo18 miles on the Oak Leaf Trail working on one of my biking goals - to increase my cadence. I'm happy to say cadence averaged 81 for the entire ride (used to be an average of 60 so needed a lot of work).
Wednesday was my weekly social ride with Cream Ciry Cycle, 30 miles in the Wind Lake area.
While Ali ran in DC on Wednesday

Disclaimer: I know it looks like I never change my jersey but in the interest of time management I wash it after I ride (meaning Rob washes it) and then just wear it the next day rather than put it away and get a different one. I'll do better next week changing looks😊
